Hűség

ákos : Hűség

Nem én válaszottam,
Ő hívott engem
A hűség megtanított rá
Hogy szabaddá kell lennem
A szó kell csak hogy megérintsen,
Máris oltár lesz a testem.

Nekem így szép
Ez a hűség,
Pedig széttép
Ami mélyen bennem ég.
Kínlódni így jó,
A hűség a legkegyetlenebb béklyó.

Hát kísérts meg újra,
Gyönyörű álruhádba bújva,
Hogy aztán jelmezed minden fodra
Legyen a hajnal sarkába dobva,
Meztelenséged szobra
Így lesz az emlékezetnek foglya.

Nekem így szép
Ez a hűség,
Pedig széttép
Ami mélyen bennem ég.
Kínlódni így jó
A hűség a legkegyetlenebb béklyó.

Nekem így szép
Ez a hűség,
Pedig széttép
Ami mélyen bennem ég.
Kínlódni így jó
A hűség a legkegyetlenebb béklyó.
A hűség a legkegyetlenebb béklyó.
A hűség a legkegyetlenebb!!!!!!

Roadtrip :)

No, I haven't been back in Netherlands. This picture was taken in Malaysia :) Yes, correct, I am not stoned in Netherlands writing stupid things, still in Asia, visiting the colonial heritage of Asia.

A nice pothugese ship in Malaysia:
The most random thing you can do when you have nothing to do is just rent a car and go around Malaysia. And that's what we did a while ago, but never had time to write about it. Now I remembered again how much I miss driving around and how much I want to go on a holiday again:)

And a very old church on a hill overloooking the ocean. Feels like being in Europe there:
This was my first driving experience on the left side of the road with the wheel on the right side of the car. Very weird.... But I managed well and it was fun at the end of the day, we were driving 800 km and killed nobody, crashed no car :) Of course sometimes you want to change the gear with the wrong hand, instead of the index you use the window water pump and all these funny things.

Having a car and no plan where to go is fun. We just went around randomly, spotting on the map and saying: Let's go there :) This is how we get to see these beautiful hidden places of Malaysia :):):) And when we were tired, then we just decided to stop and rent a room and sleep there. Totally unplanned, totally unexpected. Total fun.

This picture is funny. It is a very good example of Muslim influence on society. No nude beaches and no alcohol at the resort. No sexy swimming suits :)

Sooo relaxed. It is just a bit of heaven on earth. Living in a big city, it is just the perfect place to go and relax. This is somewhere in the mountains, but no idea where exactly. We just went there. And there is an old royal palace as well:)
OK, I have decided. I go on holiday again :)

You don't want to know how much money companies can spend on a 60 seconds TV Commercial....

"Excuse me, what is the secret to your soul?"

I started to listen to The Cat Empire last year when I was in AI and Mr. Arthur Josephson started to walk with a box on his head and was listening to this unique music. Since then the Chariot is on my mp3 player and I often listen their albums when I work or I need to chill and have some fun.

So they kind of became one of my favourite foreign bands, lining up with U2, Coldplay, R.E.M., etc... I have never thought that I will have the chance to see these guys in concert. And here they are, in Singapore, having 3 concerts for free :):):):) They are just starting their 2006 world tour and have 3 warm up shows at the Esplanade open theatre in Singapore.

This is a fantastic view with the concert scene and the financial district of Singapore:The concert itself was just amazing. It is a 3 hour show with breaks, but it is a huge party. These guys really know how to engage the public and make everybody to sing an jump. Even the not that expressive Singaporeans stood up and were screaming and yelling. And at the end of the concert everybody wanted them back, which is not that usual in Singapore.

Put your hands up in the air and shout "Hello, hello :)":
It is the best show ever in Singapore and I am really looking forward to be there in the first rows again tonight. Now these guys really put the standards high, so I have high expectations from Coldplay as well :):):).

We are just enjoying it :) "Excuse me, what is the secret to your soul?

Slowly, slowly Singapore is becoming a hub not just for business but for culture, music and entertainment. These guys from the government started to focus on this and I am confident that in 3 years it will be just as good as any European cultural hub :)

Soldier of the multinational

I have seen recently two movies about ancient times, the first one is "Attila the Hun" and the second is "Alexander". I always saw myself as the hero in these movies with vision, with eagerness to change things, to challenge thinking, with great strengths and with weaknesses, fighting for a great purpose.

But today I realised the sadness of those movies. You always have these battle scenes, when a regiment of soldiers goes in rows and they are in the front line and they die from the very beginning, even before the big battle starts. But these people still keep marching and dieing row after row.... without much sense and purpose....

Today I was that soldier in the battle.... I was not the leader with the vision, I was not the big change.... I was the soldier in the front line who was put there to fight.... and died....

Waiting for my reincarnation, will the next be a better life?
