The famous cartoons...
This thing about the cartoons became ridiculous. I think it has nothing to do as of now with the cartoons and became a much wider issue.
However it is frightening the fact that so many people are still heavily influenced by religion, I mean by people who use religion to pursue their interests.
It is also frightening that people form opinion, or feel offended, go and burn flags and embassies without even seeing the cartoons, just because someone told them that they are offending. Most of the people haven’t even seen the cartoons…. But they are rioting.
Well, violence is not justified even if they have seen the cartoons and felt offended.
Anyway, it is a complex topic and someone could write pages on this issue. I just want to share some resources Albert have found on Wikipedia abot this issue.
